We don’t really go to “electro-dance party discos” all too often. We’re nerds and generally look bad in glitter and/or spandex. That being said, you could probably convince us to attend if the venue was perhaps a Mexican restaurant. Oh, and maybe if they presented us with cheap booze and DJs with names like Vitalic Noise or something.
Lucky for us, our good friend Steve Cross (who loves music and science) clued us in on La Paz Late Night, which just so happens to be the after-hours Mexican restaurant dance party of our dreams. The whole shindig takes place monthly, has a clever theme, minimal spandex and plenty inexpensive adult beverages for all. The best part of all is the fact that it’s only $2 to attend.
Saturday night’s La Paz Late Night sesh is entitled FREEZE OUT (your guess is as good as ours, folks) and things will get started at 10 PM. DJs Burgers, Vitalic Noise, and Myrryrs will be spinning electro and disco while the bar will be serving $4 margaritas and $2.50 PBR tallboys. Try and resist that, friends.
…actually, don’t. Just go and enjoy, okay?
