We were sure that Yann Tiersen wasn’t a household name, but our poor grasp of Nashville’s taste in music was once again brought to light this weekend when a gaggle of French dudes packed Grimey’s so hard that they stopped letting people in before the band had even arrived. One dude got kicked out for barging his way in — despite the place being at capacity — and got booted out for it. Serious stuff.

We, luckily, had the forethought to show up an hour early and stake out a position near the front and get our video on. We haven’t heard Yann’s new album so we don’t know what this song is called, but it’s awfully pretty, isn’t it?
